Mr Darren Baker was a director and responsible manager of Tankstream Funds Management Limited from inception of the Tankstream Pub and Leisure Fund as a managed investment scheme. Mr Baker has 30 years’ experience owning and operating small businesses and hotels. He was the licensee (approved manager) of the Bald Rock Hotel for seven years. He is experienced in all facets of hotel operation including cash handling and accounting, gross profit and stock control, gaming, TAB and Keno operations. His primary areas of responsibility are investment fund management, hotel portfolio management including manager liaison, acquisition, due diligence and portfolio operations.

Mr James (Jaz) Mooney has over 30 years’ experience in the industry, building and developing Botanic Inns Limited in the United Kingdom before selling up and moving to Australia in 2006. He specialises in all aspects of the day to day running of hotels/pubs/restaurants with a particular focus on marketing the businesses and renovations without breaking the bank.

Mr David Horton is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years’ of accounting, business and tax experience. In 2010 he established his own Chartered Accountants practice providing accounting, tax and consulting services to a broad range of clients. Mr Horton has deep insights and strong experience in the media and entertainment, hospitality and security industries with significant experience in asset sales, acquisitions, business integrations, public listings and take-overs within this space.

Mr Philip Baker was a founding director and responsible manager of Tankstream Funds Management Limited from inception of the Tankstream Pub and Leisure Fund as a managed investment scheme. He has over 25 years’ experience in corporate finance and funds management through seven years at Macquarie Bank and his own property funds management businesses including Lachlan REIT which when sold had nearly $500 million of property assets under management. His primary responsibilities are for the funds management services to the Fund including financial structuring, investor relations, equity raisings and debt management as well as being Compliance Officer for the Fund.
Phil has a Graduate Diploma in Applied Securities and Investments from the Securities Institute of Australia and a Bachelor of Arts from Macquarie University.
Mr Scott Morgan has over 20 years’ experience in property funds management and was General Manager, Funds Management at Investa Property Fund and has held senior positions with several other organisations including Deloitte Real Estate Advisory and Henderson Global Investors.
Scott has a Graduate Diploma in Applied Securities and Investments from the Securities Institute of Australia, a Bachelor of Commerce from the Australian National University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Ms Fiona Dixon has over 20 years’ of experience in the Funds Management Industry, having held positions with Deutsche Bank and Colonial First State Investments. In the past 10 years Fiona has been responsible for acting as an independent compliance consultant, providing compliance consultancy, external compliance committee membership and acting as responsible manager for a number of companies within the funds management industry. Fiona has primary responsibility for providing compliance services through her company, Compliance for Business Pty Limited to the Fund.
Fiona holds a Graduate Diploma in Management from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
